Doug’s career began at Fletcher/Mayo/Associates, a top 100 Business-To-Business Marketing agency culminating in being named President, F/M/A – KC whose clients included DeKalb AgResearch, Pfizer, Cargill, Boehringer Ingelheim, and International Harvester.
For over a decade he led the corporate and marketing communications functions for Fortune 200 transportation giant Yellow Freight System helping the leadership team navigate de-regulation, re-positioning, re-engineering, and transformative labor negotiations.
Subsequently he has consulted with the state governments, leading not-for-profit organizations, advertising and marketing agencies, and their clients facilitating solutions to their highest priorities: growth, client retention, re-branding, policy implementation, strategic repositioning, employee engagement and Board-level accountabilities.
